The most popular cold storage crypto hardware wallet “Ledger” has recently partnered with The Sandbox metaverse to promote cryptocurrency education.
The Sandbox has emerged as a metaverse industry leader with many multinational companies and celebrities partnering with the sandbox and buying up virtual land plots via NFTs. Some of the brands include The Walking Dead, Snoop Dogg, Paris Hilton, Adidas, Gucci and HSBC. The latest collaboration is with Ledger, a French crypto wallet company focusing on crypto security.
Ledger’s chief experience officer Ian Rogers made the announcement at the ‘Non-Fungible Conference’ today. He stated that the partnership looks to provide security to The Sandbox’s metaverse and also provide Ledger with a virtual location to educate people about crypto. Rogers thanked the Sandbox’s co-founder Sebastian Borget and The Sandbox platform for the opportunity to work with them and stated that Ledger would be providing SAND token owners with customized Ledger Nanos to celebrate the partnership. Ledger announced the partnership on their twitter account earlier today.
In addition, The Sandbox will be providing Ledger with 36 plots of virtual land which Ledger plans to setup and use as an educational and security hub within The Sandbox Metaverse.
